Cafe Asean

Cafe Asean is one of my favorite eateries ever. I went to college at NYU and lived close to the establishment. NYU was around West 4 b/wbway and 6th and Cafe Asean was at 10th st. and 6th ave.

It is small (with an amazing patio), cute and has some of the best service around. They do categorize their food by appetizer, entree etc... but any of those dishes can be ordered in any fashion. I have now been there about 20 times and brought friends who are just as fond as I. I steak is amazing... spiced, marinated and cooked to perfection...for only $14. One of the best steak deals I have ever seen.

Then you gotta try the noodles, and there is not just one. All of their noodle dishes are awesome.

Mee Goreng indian style stir-fried egg noodles with shrimp, tofu and bean sprouts

Poh Taek seafood and thin rice noodles in spicy lemongrass/kaffir broth

So those are the noodles and you cannot go wrong with any.

The thai curry entree and the pork chop are really good too.

I don't want to be any more specific because this place is good ever visit. CASH ONLY!

Stay hungry my friends.
